For municipalities and clinics
Pret in Herstel helps addicts recover and successfully reintegrate into society. We do this after a 12-step Minnesota treatment, from the GGZ or as a supplement to another treatment. We help addicts recover from an addiction to drugs, alcohol, sex, medication, and/or gambling.
Information for referrers
Together with current treatment providers from the addiction clinic, we look for the appropriate follow-up for a life in recovery. We consider the risk of debt, lack of social contacts, lack of housing, inadequate personal care, and unemployment as reasons for relapsing into substance abuse.
As many as 70 to 80% of our clients complete the programme. A year after completion, 88% are still clean and this group has gained a place in society. We are proud that 90% of our clients are more than satisfied with our services.
At Pret in Herstel, we offer clients a programme of protected living for 12 to 18 months, under the final responsibility of a practitioner (psychologist or psychiatrist).
Please note: Pret in Herstel is not a treatment centre. However, we do work closely with clinics, doctors, and other practitioners.

At Pret in Herstel, we apply the following indication criteria for a referral:
- Addiction as a primary problem
